The new EU Strategy on Standardisation (2022) aims to enable resilient, green, and digital strengthening of the EU single market.The Strategy sets up a series of actions such as prioritising and addressing standardisation needs in strategic areas, improving the governance and integrity of the European standardisation system, enhancing European leadership in global standards, supporting innovation, and enabling the next generation of standardisation experts. European organisations for standardisation – CEN and CENELEC develop European Standards (ENs) and other publications, including Technical Specifications (TSs), Technical Reports (TRs), Workshop Agreements (CWAs), and Guides.
