AUTO-TWIN

Project Name: Data-driven method based on a process mining approach for Automated Digital Twin generation, operations, and maintenance in circular value chains

Description

The transition towards a Circular Economy is estimated to represent a $4.5 trillion global growth opportunity by 2030. Digital Twins availability is largely recognized as an accelerator and an enabler of Circular Economy in business and in production, but significant challenges are still standing in relation to its development within the present technological framework, the needed skill sets, and the implementation costs. AUTO-TWIN addresses the technological shortcoming and economic liability of the current system-engineering model.

The main standarisation objective is to set the future standarisation roadmap take care of all the standardisation activities carried out during the AUTO-TWIN. We aim to identify, evaluate and applied the standards when possible to ensure the interoperability of the project, for compliance and to compare them with standardisation experts.

Reason for applying to HSbooster.eu services

As far as they know, there is no existing standards related to digital twins in circular economies, so the Standardisation Booster will be essential as it will provide practical guidance to assess the readiness of the project results and set the future standarisation roadmap (e.g. launching a new work item related to digital twins for circular economies).
