AI4GOV

AI4Gov aims to explore the Artificial Intelligence and the Big Data technologies to develop evidence-based innovations, policies and policies recommendation. Its scope is to contribute to the research community  by addressing certain problems, like discrimination, bias, trust and to provide ways of mitigating these. AI4Gov wants to ensure the trust of citizens, to develop reliable AI solutions and to facilitate policymakers. This project aims to uphold fundamental rights and to contribute to the research landscape. It leverages the capabilities of state-of-the-art tools for providing un-bias, discrimination-free, fair and trusted AI.

The project aims to align its activities with the suitable standards and regulations, to constantly check if the new developments match with the selected standards. It aims to contribute to relevant standards if possible and to identify the advantages/possible drawbacks of using certain standards. Standardisation is an important aspect in AI4Gov, because it offers an organised approach to establish the project’s objectives. At the moment, there are several standards which are considered to be of interest to AI4Gov, but we would need further guidance in shaping the standardisation path.

Reason for applying to HSbooster.eu services

The project is applying for the Standardisation Booster service in order to enhance our work and to gain more knowledge on how AI4Gov can contribute to the standardisation world. The Booster service would help in having a more clear path in understanding the standardisation landscape and to make sure they are on the right path. It would give them guidance to valorize the project, to reach its full potential. The Booster service would help AI4Gov to achieve its objectives in a shorter period of time and the project would have more tools available to reach its goal. Also, it would help in getting engaged into the standardisation world and to shape the best fit strategy related to standardisation.
