Welcome to the first HSbooster.eu Newsletter! Each month we'll bring you news on the HSbooster.eu Open Calls, updates on Standardisation priorities and invitations to events and training sessions.
In this month's edition, we focus on the outcomes of our first webinar which focused on the how projects can apply for the Booster services and how standardisation experts can apply a vital part in supporting projects to approach standardisation strategically and effectively.
Discovering HSbooster.eu
Highlights & takeaways from our first webinar
Over 150 people from across the research, innovation and standardisation landscape joined us for the first HSbooster.eu webinar. Ioannis Sagias, Deputy Head of Unit for Valorisation, Policies & IPR highlighted the priorities and key actions from the Standardisation strategy which cites the Standardisation Booster as a key instrument in the valorisation of research results.
The webinar also discussed the main standardisation urgencies and their relation to the Open Call topics that the Standardisation Booster will focus on over the next two years. The Booster provides the opportunity for ongoing and completed Horizon Europe and H2020 projects to apply for consultancy services. These will be delivered by Standardisation experts who will guide and support the project to take the right strategic approach and apply the right expertise to contribute efficiently to Standardisation activities. The webinar saw details of the vital role of the experts and the benefits they and Standardisation organisations can gain from in terms of engagement with the project community.
In support of the EU Strategy on Standardisation, HSbooster.eu will provide a platform and opportunity for standardisation experts to meet and advise Horizon Europe and H2020 projects on how best their research results can lead to the revision or creation of standards.
If you have experience in contributing to National Standards Bodies, European Standards Organisations or international Standards Development Organisations, then you can apply to join our pool of experts and deliver consultancy support to projects.
