StandICT.eu has been at the forefront of supporting European experts in ICT standardisation since 2018, enabling participation in global standardisation efforts through funding, knowledge-sharing, and training. As the project looks towards its long-term sustainability, the StandICT.eu 2026 Sustainability Consultation is now open, seeking input from the standardisation community to help shape future strategic directions.
Why participate?
The consultation aims to identify key sustainability drivers, ensuring that StandICT.eu remains aligned with evolving regulatory and policy landscapes. With over 400 experts supported through Trust-Grants™, in-depth insights via the EUOS Observatory, and training through the Standards Academy, the initiative has significantly contributed to ICT standardisation efforts. Now, the focus is on enhancing long-term engagement, strengthening regulatory foresight, and equipping experts with essential skills to navigate the complexities of the standardisation ecosystem.
Beyond shaping the next phase of StandICT.eu, this consultation directly impacts the sustainability of other EU-funded standardisation projects, including HSBooster.eu. One key question explores how these initiatives can pool resources and collaborate to ensure long-term support for the European standardisation community beyond their funding cycles.
Given HSBooster.eu’s role in connecting standardisation experts with projects across multiple domains, its network’s input is essential in defining how standardisation support should evolve at the European level.
How to get involved
The survey takes 15 minutes to complete and will remain open until April 30, 2025. Aggregated and anonymised results will be shared with relevant stakeholders, including the European Commission.
By participating, you actively contribute to a stronger, more connected European ICT standardisation landscape, one that also serves as a model for other sustainability initiatives, including HSBooster.eu.
