UP2030

UP2030 aims to support cities in driving the socio-technical transitions required to meet their climate neutrality targets by leveraging urban planning and design. For this, several tools will be developed and tested in the project cities. These tools fall under the following categories:

• digital infrastrucrure for energy efficiency
• digital spatial planning for climate resilience
• citizen engagement tolols
• data validation tools. 

As part of the commercialisation and exploitation efforts, standardisation of tools will be sought through the standardisation mechanism CEN TC 465 Sustainable and Smart Cities and Communities. Ultimately, UP2030 aims to turn its approaches into standard practice, which can be adopted in the mentioned standardisation mechanism. 

Reason for applying to HSbooster.eu services

They would like to know how they could contribute to existing standardisation processes and strategies, particularly of the CEN TC 465, and how existing standardisation frameworks can contribute to the development and commercialisation efforts of our UP2030 tools.

An Expected outcome of UP2030 is making the participatory approaches and social impact assessments of neutrality interventions standard practice, and we would like to know how we can contribute to this.
