Project Name: Reliable biometric technologies to assist police authorities in combating terrorism and organised crime
Description
TENSOR will provide Police Authorities a platform that facilitates the biometric evidence extraction, sharing, and storage in cross border environments, allowing them to share best practices in an automated, robust, secure, privacy-preserving and scalable manner. The full potential of biometrics technologies will be exploited, as well as their fusion with less distinctive features in case of partial evidence gathered.
In this task, the main objective is to identify the standardisation strategy in TENSOR, mainly by thoroughly analysing the standardisation potential of the key innovations, and to map the key exploitable innovations to the standardisation objectives, in order to prepare a concrete plan to submit contributions to relevant standardisation forums and bodies. The task will also monitor the standards organisations relevant to TENSOR and will make sure that the involved partners are contributing clear inputs. FUJ will be appointed as the Standardisation Manager (SM) for the project and will be dedicated to promoting the standardisation potential of the project results.
Reason for applying to HSbooster.eu services
Within TENSORFujitsu is leading the standardisation task. They have created a list with relevant standardisation bodies/ initiatives to connect with throughout the project, but find it important to also include the HSBooster into their activities as they see a lot of added value and appreciated insights and feedback.
Ideally they would get in contact with HSbooster, discuss their findings and receive some comments and recommendations.
