Platform-ZERO

For solar energy to become a key clean energy source in Europe and improve the competitiveness of the European PV industry, the overall production quality of PV devices must be improved and the fabrication costs need to be lowered, which can only be attained through zero defect manufacturing. Platform-ZERO aims at providing a new paradigm for the third generation PV industry.

Building on project watch activities and partner involvement in their specific areas of expertise, a standardisation-focused dissemination strategy will be defined, with focused dissemination actions targeting a selection of standardisation bodies, and when possible actual contributions (of the project) to the standardisation organisations. The output of this task will result in scientific publications and direct dissemination/contributions to the various bodies to be reported/updated in the periodic reports.
