MARVEL

MARVEL delivers a disruptive Edge-to-Fog-to-Cloud (E2F2C) ubiquitous computing framework that enables multimodal perception and intelligence for audio-visual scene recognition and event detection in a smart city environment. MARVEL aims to collect, analyse and data mine multimodal audio-visual data streams of a Smart City and help decision-makers to improve the quality of life and services to the citizens. The project aims to review the current and emerging standards and engage interactions with standardization and policy-making bodies. With the interactions, we aim to raise awareness about the project's results in these bodies and collect feedback to fine-tune the project's results.

Provide information on how to contact standardisation bodies, and how to engage two-way interactions with them. In the project, we are currently preparing a white paper about the standards used in the project, and based on that we would like to find contacts in the standardisation community and see if we can contribute to existing standards or identify potential gaps.
