int:net

Project Name: Interoperability Network for the Energy Transition

Description

int:net objectives:

  • Consolidating a common knowledge base for interoperability activities on energy services in Europe
  • Developing a comprehensive and accepted Interoperability Maturity Model (IMM)
  • Deploying a framework for interoperability testing in a network of interoperability testing facilities
  • Fostering a community network of standards and regulatory environment for a European interoperability ecosystem

The objectives related to standardisation in the project

Reason for applying to HSbooster.eu services

The project int:net would like to apply for support in three topics that have already been discussed with Nicholas Ferguson.

1. SGAM (Smart Grid Architecture Model):

Idea of new 6th layer "Framework Layer" and the “tube in the cube” principles. With the research conducted in int:net, they want to support the Data Space Cluster Projects in considering governance aspects within the established SGAM framework.

2. Standardisation Matrix:

They have created a Standardisation Matrix to compare the relevance of TCs/WGs for the Data Space Cluster Projects (omega-x, SYNERGIES, Enershare, DATA CELLAR, EDDIE). Support is aimed in form of assistance for the Data Space Cluster Projects.

3. ISO standards:

Are there relevant ISO standards for interoperability? Our focus so far has been on IEC + CENELEC.

The above three topics need connection of HSBooster experts, the int:net project and the Data Space Cluster Projects.

A webinar and a workshop were discussed.
